lilly during rush?

by:

I've been browsing the websites and it seems like Lilly is waaaay more popular among the lower tier (according to this website, so not quite sure how reliable this info is) than among the the B6... is this true? I'm talking about the patterned Lillys.

"Lower tier"? Just shows how much you know about UT rush. The Big 6 is a joke. The article was written to bash those houses. Lilly is a state of preference. Some girls like it, some don't. Be you. Don't dress a certain way to try to fit in because we can tell that you are trying too hard. And plus, you won't be as comfortable and confident.

Lilly is fine. If you where Lilly because you love it(which I do) then do it. Just don't plan an entire Lilly-themed recruitment. One sundress is plenty. Don't wear Lilly shorts, top and sandals, then a Lilly sundress, etc. Gosh, people, Lilly has been a classic preppy staple for over four decades. Don't make it sound like it is a terrible thing.I wear some of my mom's vintage dresses. But I also wear JCrew, local boutiques, and Target and whatever else I like. Where what makes you comfortable.

Lilly is only tryhard if you are overly obsessed with it. If you have a few in your wardrobes and wear them because you like them and were raised wearing them...then no. As the person above said they are classic and southern preppy.
