How good is the SigEp chapter?

Looking to transfer into Austin and just wanted to know how good of a chapter they are?

I had a friend who transferred to UT from a decent Sig Ep chapter. Sharp guy, they were rude to him , ignored him, after a couple of week he realized what it was all about and stopped going around.
