saw this shared on my omicron friend's facebook:
"Texas Omicron is pleased to announce that we have agreed to a tentative settlement of the pending appeal of the litigation with Kappa Alpha Order. We are working on the details, but as part of the tentative settlement, Texas Omicron has voted to seek admission to Kappa Alpha Order. The Kappa Alpha Order Executive Council (national board of directors) has voted to endorse the petition by Texas Omicron’s current undergraduate members as the new members of a KA chapter at The University of Texas! We are looking forward with great enthusiasm to being KA’s and sharing in the honored traditions of the Kappa Alpha Order."
I dont exactly know what that means but sounds like KA is back?

that the top fraternities would like to see KA come back strong. There are friends in those fraternities. UT is certainly large enough to have 5 or 6 in the top tier. It is that way at other large schools. It's a friendly competition and SigEp and KSig attract top guys in the state, so they want only the best for Omicron. It only brings strength to that area of west campus.

KA and with their house they'll probably join the top tier again if it's true. I doubt they'll actually remove another house, but they'll divert some of the rushees from other top houses again. Once again, that's to say if it's true.
