pledging/hazing rumors

I've been rushing and I like some of the houses I've been to, but whenever I'm asked about where else I'm rushing, there's always some backhanded comments about other fraternities.

How much attention should I pay to what I hear? People have been telling me to avoid specific houses because they make their pledges do ridiculous things like kill a handle by themselves in one sitting or walk on broken glass or something like that.

it's Lambda Chi you've been hanging around with, don't listen to them. They want to scare you from going anywhere else so you'll join their T-shirt club
