rushing as a junior

by: pinky

Is rushing as a junior a suicide mission? I have no clue how quotas work or which houses would automatically cut based off of grade level. Any advice from current members/recruitment gals from any house?

i know some houses are supposed to take a certain number of upperclassmen so every older girl I've talked to honestly has an easier time rushing. less competition

Let's be clear. No house is required to take a certain number of upperclassmen. No house is required to take anybody. That is strictly against NPC rules. At UT there is a separate system for upperclassmen bids so they are not competing with freshmen for spots. The houses may take upperclassmen if they wish, and the separate pool makes it easier for them to get bids, but no house is required to take a certain number. People get confused and think quota is a requirement but it's an upper limit, can't take more than quota.

Rushed as a junior. Loved it. Got top houses back and felt like I could fully be myself. Graduated with amazing friends from every PC
