NOT ENOUGH HOUSING FOR THETAS?
by: FURIOUSABSOLUTELY LIVID! My DD told me tonight she found out recently that there is a chance she WON'T get to live in the Theta house as a junior?? And they are asking us for money for a remodel? How about you add on bedrooms!! If I knew there wouldn't be enough room in the house (which now I know is smaller than others - too late mind you) I would have nudged her elsewhere as the experience of living in the house is a huge reason to even pledge a sorority. And now I hear she might not even get to? BEYOND RIDICULOUS!

Mine told me the same but thought she personally would have enough points as didn't ignore earning opportunities this year - she had better as I don't plan on paying for an apartment for her as a junior - its ridiculous enough have to store furniture after sophomore year

Why don't they switch to live in house sophomore year and out junior and senior? Makes more sense

I wish we were - we are out of state and my daughter has had terrible time with future housing issues (who knew you all planned so far ahead!) This is a real bump for us.

Greekrank is the last place you should be looking for answers to this question. Perhaps have your daughter-who is presumably an adult and should be solving her own problems- contact the appropriate people within the chapter/housing corporation and find out what the exact criteria is and whether she meets it. The end.
