out of state rushing?
by: utI'm from New England and I'm looking to rush, but I don't have any ties at any houses. Will I be able to successfully rush given that I'm not a moron and that I have money to pay dues?
#1by: I was OOS too
go on their websites and fill out rush forms, make friends at orientation and go to rush events with them, you will want to fly to austin probably at least one other time in the summer as well so you can go to more rush events. DONT LIVE ON CAMPUS, live in Callaway or Towers and move in on the earliest day possible and rush hard the first days before class. Most good houses will have their pledge classes set early so do some networking and find people you know who can send your name into their rush lists.
