out of state rushing?

by:

I'm from New England and I'm looking to rush, but I don't have any ties at any houses. Will I be able to successfully rush given that I'm not a moron and that I have money to pay dues?

go on their websites and fill out rush forms, make friends at orientation and go to rush events with them, you will want to fly to austin probably at least one other time in the summer as well so you can go to more rush events. DONT LIVE ON CAMPUS, live in Callaway or Towers and move in on the earliest day possible and rush hard the first days before class. Most good houses will have their pledge classes set early so do some networking and find people you know who can send your name into their rush lists.

I know a couple SAEs who are from out of state (especially from NOLA). Im not sure if they had connections (besides the NOLA kids) but your best bet would be to look at the middle tiers like the guy above said. All the sites have all the info you need.

If you're good looking and rich try to make contact with Fiji. They took a few out of state pledges last year, all hot. You need to go to Austin in June, they will have most of pledge class picked out by July.

Slim chance, but check out SAE if you have a ton of money.

I'm looking more into Sigma Chi, Delt, ATO and Pike, do they take in kids with no prior legacy to the chapter/friends in the chapter?

I'll be busy traveling this summer but I can make it to Austin in May/June and early August if need be.

Those houses bid the first week into school. You should be fine, just make contact now and tell them you are interested. Check out every house you can. Even try the top

I disagree, I like the Delts, a lot of really nice smart guys. Check them out for sure.

Yeah, Delt is the best chapter they listed. Quite a bit better than Pike and ATO.
