Pike: On the Rise or in Decline
by: Huh?Where does Pike fit in the hierarchy? What are its strengths and weaknesses? Can it become top tier or is it damned to be mid forever? Can it rise to Alabama and FSU Pike at UT ever? Pike is agonizingly stuck between 80 and 98 kids. Can they break the 100 person meter? (Genuine question)

Pike is bottom of mid, top of bottom of the relevant frats here (above Sammy, below sig chi). Bottom of top of the all frats although no one looks at it like that. This is opinionated but it’s really hard for a frat climb up the ranks. Typically takes many years and a lot of chipping away at your culture and and rep. It takes one pc at a time and imo if you have to take smaller more quality pcs do it. What pike has done is bid everyone with a pulse and weirdos slip in who 2 years down the line bid more weirdos so change can’t occur.

The new house looks beautiful. It’s defo one of the best imo since it looks like your typical California/Malibu coastal home. If Pike can recruit a good 30+ PC in the next two years, break the 100 person barrier, and get better sorority relations they’ll defo be in the top 10. Top 5 is a stretch that will take years. But they can definitely climb the ranks to the top of mid and bottom of top. They gotta actually find people who fit the “athlete” caricature as their brother colonies at FSU, UF, Alabama, A&M, Tech and OU do. Those Pikes are undoubtedly in the top 5 at their schools and should be what UT’s Pike aspires to be
