aphi drop rate?
by: bevobabeI’m rushing this year at Texas and Alpha Phi seems cool from social media but Ive heard terrible things about them. One thing was that they have an insanely high drop rate in their PCs both before and after initiation. Is there a reason for that?

The aphis are really strict. To my knowledge, they have a bunch of formals that the girls have to go to. They are really strict on alcohol and other rules, and so girls get sick of it.
I have heard a lot of bad things about the leadership there, at least during the 2020-2021 year. Maybe it's changed

Aphi didn’t give out any snap bids last year. Tri delt and Kappa gave out the most snap bids last year.

Why was I downvoted? I asked a useful question. Y’all are saying this house snd that house has so many drops, but that means there has to be proof to back up what you’re saying. Does the school show the numbers like some schools do?

The dean of students website has chapter totals. It isn’t hard to figure out “drops”
But what looks like drops can be many things. Transfers, financial strain, lost interest, kicked out or just inactive so the sorority decides to scrub the member from the roster to free up space for a new excited member.
Some sororities are content with leaving dead weight on their roster. Then they have no drops….

You mentioned back in July you were going to rush. So either you got into a sorority or you didn’t? Just trying to figure out the concern after rush is over about drop rates. If you did join a sorority, you should be meeting new girls and having fun and not worrying so much about drop rates.

Someone’s a little jealous of a Phi . The girls have a great time. Just because they’re a really pretty group doesn’t mean they have a bad sisterhood like some say. Just trying to sully their reputation out of jealousy. AXO is always undersized and DG has been the opposite of Alpha phi, dropping over the last 20 years.

From what I hear only 2 girls dropped. Same with many other houses. Aphi is doing everything right and it shows.. happy PC..there’s always going to be haters.

Alpha Phi has the WORST reputation in the country! They take grade risks and character risks in every chapter in the country, and they are constantly in trouble everywhere. They are last in grades everywhere and known to be the girls with the least character. I would rather be non-greek than ever be an A Phi.
