DG botched Fall rush and screwed girls (along with themselves) over from what I saw. AXO and possibly APhi as of this last Fall are better than DG.

understand, Kappa has gotten better pledge classes than Pi Phi for at least three years, and they beat Theta substantially in rush last Fall. I mean XO also did better than Theta and Pi Phi, but that's beside the point.

No it's really a matter of opinion. You can't just focus on last fall. This is in general: XO = Kappa

Everyone keeps saying that Kappas got the best pledge class and they did in terms of getting the girls that kappa, Chi O, and Tri Delta wanted.....beautiful and great girls! But.....is it just me, or did it seem like Pi Phi got what they wanted too? In other words, are the chapters just going for different girls?

I think Kappa and Pi Phi both have pledge classes basically picked ahead of time and both of them get most of the girls they want....There is some overlap, of course, but in general Pi Phis girls at the top of their bid list go into rush knowing lots of Pi Phis and wanting to be Pi Phis and Kappas top picks go in wanting Kappa and that is how it works out . They know the girls ahead.....not much of a challenge for them. Theta and Chi O both end up with some girls that Kappa and Pi Phi want who are willing to be open minded because they are great chapters, but in general Pi Phi and Kappa pick who they want so thinking they had the best rush. It works fine because so many great girls rush that there are tons of wonderful PNMs to choose from so everyone wins.

there's much difference between the 3, really just depends on the year. This year every other girl rushing seemed to be a Kappa, and Theta had a lot of legacies too. Other years Pi Phi has had a ton. I actually feel kind of bad for PKT legacies, because it's kind of hard for a lot of them to go anywhere else, even if they wouldn't prefer to join their legacy house.

Pi Phi's pledge class sucked. APhi's pledge class looked like they were on a death march. Kappa, Theta, Chi-O, Tri-Delt, Zeta, AXO & DG all have strong pledge classes. They also all had good return rates, which tells how strong the PNM's felt they were. Pi Phi's return rate for last round was horrid.

No one...NO ONE, has said DG had a great PC '13. Except them. Pi Phi...well they got the girls they wanted so they are happy. AXO, ZTA, APhi, Kappa, and Theta all had good recruitments...NOT DG.

Agree Pi Phi had a bad rush compared to Kappa and Theta but they still got a lot of cute sweet girls.

Not true! Of course they get some of the girls they want but 2 years ago they had a terrible rush and this year it was so-so.
