I was a sophomore transfer! Was out of state and knew no one. Had a great rush and ended up in my favorite house of the week. A lot of my friends were also sophomore rushees and for the most part most the sophomores I met rushing got into houses! Sophomore quota is completely different to freshman quota so every house is going to have sophomores in their pledge class. Some chapters take more sophomores than others but as long as you go into it with an open mind I’m sure you’ll have a great experience! Plus rushing as a transfer is such a great experience to meet other girls at ut in your rush group!

No, that's not correct. It's not a required quota. Quota is a maximum number that each house can take, not a required minimum. There are separate quotas for freshmen and upperclassmen, so a sophomore won't have to compete with freshmen for spots, but quotas aren't determined until after pref and everyone has signed her card. Sophomores can be released from a house at any point until then just like freshmen. If you make it to pref you'll get a bid if you rank your houses.
