Is it bad to be in a "rock bottom" one? I was planning on joining one of them and I don't think I would fit in at one of the upper ones.

I’m already a sophomore, so i don’t know if it’s a good idea to wait until I’m a junior. I’ve been really lonely so far at UT so I would like to have a brotherhood to be with while I’m here.

I’m not in one of those frats but if that’s where you’re comfortable and you like the guys, go for it. You won’t have the benefits of a “higher” frat like big parties and a lot of exposure to sororities, but you’ll know your bros a lot better and will probably have a more chill time. Go with your gut and enjoy your fraternity.

I would actually be very open to being in a "higher" tier fraternity, its just that I got a bid from a "rock bottom" and I am already a sophomore so I was thinking I would take it rather than just not be in a fraternity. I was actually the one who made the "any good fraternities take juniors?" post.

K Sig continues to claim being neck and neck with KA when in reality they’re a step below Delt in terms of their selectivity and Big 6 sorority relations.
