lxa- new house? on the rise?

when I see it. Lots of chapters are always "getting a new house next semester." Beyond that, Lambda Chi needs to be selective about who they bid and actually institute anything resembling a pledge process. I'm pretty sure they let pledges wear letters right off, and if you accidentally ask someone if they're a pledge they'll give you a spiel on how they are an associate member and how damaging the term "pledge" is to self-esteem. They have a fairly large chapter size due to blanket bidding, but this means that there are some really questionable guys who get in along with the cool ones. They also spend rush bad mouthing a lot of the middle tier chapters and talking about how awful everyone else's pledgeship supposedly is, and continue telling other chapters' pledges how bad it's going to be. They have a lot of behavior to correct before they move up, even if they get a new house.

going to hit a wall soon. The way they recruit gets 'em bottom-tier guys, but it won't get them guys that rush Sigma Chi, pike, ato, etc.

Plus, their parties still suck and every small fraternity has promised that they have a house in the works. (Pretty sure Lambda chi was supposed to already get it this year according to what they said two years ago)
