PKT isn’t the best, change my mind
by: ShapiroEvery single sorority ranking on this website has PKT at the top. I’m very confused as to why this is. I’ve been in UT Greek life (frat) for 3 years now and PKT doesn’t have the hottest girls, the smartest girls, the most fun girls, nor the nicest girls. The only thing I’d give them is the richest girls. Before y’all reply with the “wow someone is salty”, seriously think about it objectively. The only reason everyone thinks they’re the top houses is because it’s accepted by the people who patrol Greek rank 24/7 which, probably, is a large portion of PKT. Rankings will never matter if there is never disagreement that everyone besides PKT acknowledges should be there.

Not PKT. But I do have friends in PKT. Overall wonderful girls. And to me top is subjective. They do have the richest girls, and that might not matter to guys, but when it comes to having girl friends it’s nice to have friends with money who can afford to go out and keep up with you. Personally that’s not super important to me, but I see why some people value it. Some sororities are top for looks. Some girls care about that, and some don’t think it matters if their friends are hot or not. Some sororities are top for grades. And some sororities aren’t as worried about academics and just want to have fun. It really isn’t that important what your sorority values, as long as you’re happy there. I do love my PKT friends and it seems odd to me that you’re upset that they’re “top” for being rich. Why do you care? Do rankings REALLY matter? Or do our friendships within our houses?
