Big 6 reasons ?!

What about PKT makes them top is it just their money? I feel like Tridelt/zeta have way prettier & nicer girls

it’s honestly just the way it is. pkt has always been top and always will be because it’s just historically how everyone has viewed them. tri delt and zeta and other chapters like them honestly have such amazing girls and I think they have more meaningful sisterhoods because all pkt cares about it status whereas everyone else is focused on real loving bonds. every chapter has something amazing to offer that makes it “top” in that catergory (looks, academics, sisterhood, involvement, class, friendliness) but pkt will always be a bunch of girls feeding off of daddies money and trying to grow their egos

What a misguided generalization. The ones I know are amazing girls that love their sisterhoods. The ones I know are smart, beautiful, a blast to be around, and they could give a crap about status and what everyone thinks. Not saying those don’t exist but it’s rare, contrary to some posters on GR. I’m sorry you haven’t gotten to know any of them. Every sorority has their share of close minded a-holes.

Return Rate was much higher for A Helping Hand, Let Us Be United In Love, Sworn Sister, Friendship Eternal, Truth Friendship Justice, Love Knowledge Justice and Wise Lady than in PTK.

Well, to be brutally honest....sadly most freshmen girls were dropped by them before they even got to know them. That is the way the system works. PKT had to drop around 800 after first round and Tri delt, Chi O and Zeta had to drop up to 600. It makes sense that chapters that are the most desired (how numbers having to be dropped is decided) are the ones that are the hardest to get.

I have friends in Pi Phi and Kappa (idk about theta), who are amazing. That being said, they definitely had connections that got them there. PKT makes so many cuts the first round because they generally already have their bid lists made before recruitment. There’s nothing wrong with that, it’s just a fact, but it does mean that it’s “harder” to join a PKT sorority because you have to know the right people/go to the right high school/live in the right neighborhood/have the money to get a spot on that list. Again, having connections is kind of a requirement, but it’s not the only requirement, and there are some awesome girls who go PKT.

No, they don’t cut because their bid lists are made. PKT makes so many cuts first round because that is how the system works. They are not given the opportunity to meet new girls.
