How do bid list work? Do legacy’s at all houses go to the top

No! They get ranked just the same as all PNMs
Legacies aren’t that relevant at UT!

It depends on the house. They have different policies from nationals

I think some houses have to guarantee legacies a bid once they make it past a certain round so maybe.

Some houses have a national policy that legacies go to the top of the bid list, others don’t.

I’m a legacy and got dropped after sisterhood last year.
I also know A few siting sisters this year that got dropped After Sisterhood and Pref night. Legacy and sitting sitter doesn’t mean anything especially for top 6.

Except I do feel Kappa is more loyal to their legacy’s and sitting sister. #tradition

I know Pi phi and Kappa have a night where they have to vote to cut or keep legacies. If you make it past that cut they have to put you at the top of their bid list. It is pretty brutal because they both always have SO many legacies going through-way more than a pledge class.
