2021 rush what if

No because I felt like this was a way for me to make some connections my freshman year. Even if it’s mostly virtual. What else are we supposed to do?

They should have waited. Lots of schools wait until Spring and they manage to survive without those “connections” first semester. This rush was so different and not in a good way. It was nothing like a normal rush and unfortunately y’all missed out on that experience

I agree. I also think it allowed pnms to based their opinions on houses on their conversations and not the decorations or food. You also didn’t have to scream to have a conversation and guess what the other person said. I think it’s a lot more fair than past recruitments and I wish I had it this way. Also I liked not having an open house.

I think it was unfortunate for those that have connections in certain houses as they 99% based their decision on having gone to school/camp with members of certain house. They didn't get a real opportunity to explore other options in an effort to establish a different college experience. Major high school 2.0 experience in store for these pledge classes. Not healthy.
