getting dropped after philanthropy round?

I think the cuts are going to be much bigger this round than last. Think big six kept more girls for philanthropy than usual. I can’t promise you it will all be ok, but you will be just as happy with girls outside of big six. Go in with an open mind and give your other houses a chance.

The difference in tiers is that they hangout with different frats that is literally it everyone has date events/sisterhood events you’ll find friends anywhere

The problem with your post is “had my heart set”. This is too early for that.

I don’t want to be a downer, but it’s totally a possibility that you click with a girl in a certain house and get cut. It happened to me a few times last year (ex: at zeta philanthropy I actually cried talking to my girl bc my mom had gone through treatment for breast cancer that year, and then they cut me). While this really sucks, esp bc you can’t pinpoint anything you did wrong if you felt you were being yourself, try really hard not to take it personally. Every sorority makes cuts differently, so depending on the chapter, sometimes the girl you talk to has no say in whether you make it to the next round or not. Like everyone else has said, you will find sisterhood no matter where you end up, and in 20 years, you’ll care more about those relationships than about which frats you mixed with.

Do not get your heart set on anyone or you are almost guaranteed to get your heart broken. Treat the 6 houses you have as if they are the only ones on campus. If you get invitations to Sisterhood and Pref, treat those as if they are the only ones on campus- because they will be your only chance to join a sorority. Anyone who cuts you is not an option anymore.

You will get cut by all except two in the end (if you’re lucky) There’s going to be disappointment. Yes I know I’m being a downer but those are facts.

They might have to cut you even if they loved you. Especially the two in big six
