As a member of another sorority a majority of pi phis i've met have been extremely rude and elitist because they care too much about ranking.I love every chapter here and can easily make friends with any but they're the only ones who give off the vibe of oh we cant talk to you because you're not a pi phi.

Stay away from the queen bee cliques in the pledge classes (it’s always like 4-8 girls depending on how bad the year) and the girls tend to be sweet. I would know because I am very close friends with a few. Pi Phi’s vibe can be explained by the fact they don’t rep letters as much or act peppy. Some people confuse that with being stuck up.
Cliques are an issue because there’s no concerted effort to try and separate the personalities that ran HP/Memorial/Episcopal. The fact the atmosphere and hierarchy never shift creates problems, since those girls the. never learn how to cope or treat people who can’t do anything for them.

Pi phi definitely has the most “elitist” vibe, but they aren’t fake if anything they are brutally honest. Yes many are snobby but there is also a large group who are incredibly down to earth and chill. If you like them go for it, I had no connections And didn’t go pi phi but ended up having my best friends there

Or maybe they were just nice. There is no reason why rush can’t be friendly - even in houses where you get cut.
