Cut by dg whyyyyy

Did anyone else get cut by dg but still kept by all of your other choices? This happened to some other people I know too. I don’t know where I went wrong?

The more popular the house the more girls they are required to cut each round. It's not personal. As long as you still have houses, you are doing great!! Keep your head up, everything will work out as it should.

The same thing happened to me. Kept by most of big six and cut by dg. I really don’t know why

Don’t believe this. These posts are just DG trying to look selective. They have been dropping for several years. Current seniors were among the worst class that year.

Ranking at Texas are historic from the 70s or 80s not necessarily based on current popularity. DG is popular because they have such a strong sisterhood.

I heard DG has a minimum GPA requirement and they automatically cut anyone below it, so it might be because of that.

Literally don’t listen to the comments on here bashing dg. I don’t get why everyone does because every dg I’ve met is so happy in that house and are the nicest girls. They have a highest thing rate (girls that don’t drop), far greater than aphi, adpi, Chio, and AXO and did not have to participate in spring rush. Nothing wrong with spring rush but it can indicate if girls dropped in the fall. People on here have a problem with that and feel the need to tear them down on here during recruitment. And yes, dg is selective, but not on looks like some of the other houses are. They recruit based on if your personality will fit which makes a great house with girls that get along well.

honestly don't worry too much about it. houses will cut you if they see you vibing better with different houses because they want to keep the girls they know will want to come back 100%
