money and sororities

I was just wondering if a ton of sororities at UT base if they want you or don’t want you due on how much your family makes? I’m just nervous about this but I’m trying not to overthink it and I’ll end up where I’m supposed to in the end!

Houses don’t actually look up your zipcode and cut you based on the average income they just take girls from specific zipcode areas rhat are known to be wealthy

They just take girls from where they come from. No one looks at your parents income or lack of. Don’t worry:)

Listen to this, make a note if you have to. I wish I’d known this as a freshman. With all of the rumors and talk that floats around, I was jaded for a bit and worried that I’d been given a bid for the wrong reasons. I worried that people hadn’t seen me. They did though. In every house here, not just certain ones, the attention is really on your vibe, your personality and how you’ve treated people the house knows.
