Make UT Southern Again

This school needs to take pride in true southern culture. Tired of these fake cowboys and hairy legged women with blue hair infiltrating UT. "all hat, no cattle" type people really need a wake up call. This is the University of TEXAS. We live in the deep south. Take pride in it.

Agreed that we need to go back to our true values and traditions. Texas has its own personality and we weren't considered the deep south. We were our own country once (hopefully we will be again) and have a long and great history that liberals want to tarnish.

Agree w/ this. UT used to have a rodeo team and an on-campus shooting range. Demographics have definitely changed but the “woke” kids really did a good job of shunning the southern kids out. Even guys who were in Texas Cowboys and Silver Spurs don’t really fit in with true Texas cowboy culture. You’ll find a few here and there but not very common
