Calling Out APhi and Zeta

Aphi/Zeta are all over this site and I am sick of their agenda.
1. Claim they are the hot girl sororities. Please, there are pretty girls and not pretty girls in every sorority.
2. Tear down the sorority right above them. DG and DDD. Both have nice girls and don't defend themselves.
3. Try and say they mix with better frats. Um, okay.
This is so obvious and embarrassing for your girls. You should really stop. Your welcome.

And literally anytime anyone compliments either it’s “shut up dg” or “shut up tridelt” like they’re all Over hear ready to hate and change their rep like sorry but GR isn’t the place to do that. You’re both mean and only care abt looks when tridelt and dg care abt sisterhood

Everyone tries to make excuses for Aphi having that many COBs when there really is no excuse for rushing mean girls who are just pretty

COBS are given when PCs aren’t full enough.
Pretty sure it stands for continuous open bidding? Bottom line is the way aphi rushed all on looks left them 25 girls short on bid day so they had to have 25 COBS. A few houses still give some COBs cause the rush process sucks and isn’t fair for a lot of girls but no one does 25

I’m not here to defend either of these sororities, even though I do think y’all are being a little too hard on them. I am, however, here to defend COB girls. Y’all are talking about them like they are less valuable and worthy of respect. We ALL know how competitive UT rush is and how hard it is to get a bid. Those girls deserve just as much love too. Just because they had a hard time the first go round doesn’t mean they’re an embarrassment to the chapter. Great girls get cut all the time for silly stuff— no connections, one bad impression, getting cross cut, etc. This is borderline mean to those poor girls. COBs, you are no less loved than anyone else.

^completely agree there is nothing wrong with cobs they are just as much a part of every chapter and anyone else in them. It just, however, cans from them dropping every girl they didn’t think was pretty and then having all their top houses pick something else. Again noting wrong with the girls who con it rush is awful and too many amazing girls slip through, it can just sometimes be reflective a of a rush with bad decisions made

if you think it’s only aphi and zeta on GR, you might want to pay closer attention. why would zetas constantly bump ranks that have them lower than tridelt & why would aphi constantly bump rankings that have them on the lowest tier? i’m not here to defend either of these sororities, I think there are some things to be said about the way they rush and the girls they pick, but saying they are basically the only ones on here just isn’t true. stop trying to attack these chapters to make yourselves look better and let the PNM’s see for themselves these girl’s true colors

This whole thread is ridiculous and inane. Please grow up. All I see on here is hate for Alpha Phi. If APhi is on here, they aren't saying mean things that even compared to the cruel things being said about them. I know it's recruitment time, but we should try to represent a unified front to the PNMs. Ladies, most of the sororities here get along well. Everyone has friends in other sororities. What you see on greekrank is not representative of actual Greek life here. In real life, we support one another's philanthropies and one another in general, except for the usual bickering back and forth that happens and you get a bunch of jealous immature girls going at it. Like this thread.

I don't see the problem with Zeta. Yes they rush very pretty girls, but other than that I don't see whats wrong with them. Most girls seem to like Zeta.
Aphi does the same, except they get pretty girls who got dropped by big 6 and thus have a lot of girls who don't necessarily want to fully engage, creating a bad sisterhood. Aphi nationals has a horrible reputation bc its been exposed that all Aphi chapters recruit heavily on looks.

To honestly and agree (probably same person) see point number one above. Stop says ONLY Zeta rushes very pretty girls when you know that it is not true. This is partly why you are the bottom of the big 6.
And, yes all the sororities defend themselves and their friends on GR but only Zeta and APhi make rude and degrading comments about other sororities.
