Should affiliate with another fraternity not on campus. KA nationals is too peoccupied with being PC these days. For example, they did away with many old south traditions to keep from offending people.

I want to know, are the fijis really as dumb as people say they are?

Not so fast. I know some guys that went to ACC and they're doing fine. They're bagging groceries at Randalls, but hey.

See also the Sigma Nu chapter at Vanderbilt that got kicked out of their nationals, went local and shortly got picked up by Kappa Sigma Nationals and is currently Vandy Kappa Sig. This stuff has been going on since fraternities were founded. People just don't talk about it out in the open for diplomatic reasons.

Alumni support is way overated. A handful of key people willing to spend money at the right time can make a huge difference. That said, many a great house with tons of dough has folded up. Too many cases to sight.. Here though the claim is that the alums will follow whereever the local leads. Like at Vandy.. No Sigma Nu from 1990 is popping in at Kappa Sig at Homecoming just because the guys recently left from one to the other. Most alums say "have no dog in this fight". They drop the wife at the country club or Niemans, the kids at soccer or tae kwon do, go to work, try to bang the secretary. Hopefully they can have couple beers at the house after catching a football game once a year, see a couple old friends. You really think someone super famous or really prominent wants to get caught up i this? Second.. The Nationals don't have any money.. you don't think someone is helping cover the Nationals costs? No one from say Alabama gives a #2 whether Omicron is in or out.

My brother is considering UT and I was wondering what the situation is. It would be sweet to have him be a fellow brother. That is why I care.
