Well yeah, that’s why most people drop by their junior year. The only people left in the fraternity their senior year are the officers. Everyone else has made their 5 to 10 good friends and the rest can go kick rocks.

Is this actually true? I kinda liked the idea of a fraternity being 4 years of friendship and beyond college.

You’ll get the 4 years of friendship and beyond, but not with the whole fraternity. You’ll find your clique and those will be the lifelong friends. You can get the experience you’re looking for, but your best bet will be a smaller fraternity. But then you’ll miss out on the huge parties and sorority mixers and other stuff that comes along with the bigger fraternities.
