what's the deal with texas rho
by: geed
I'm a GDI sophomore, so I don't know much about the context. I've heard some stuff about how Rho is a top tier frat here, and others hate them with their guts. As I understand it, they take a lot of ACC kids and aren't officially recognized by the university (They were SAE I think?) However, people seem to have mixed reactions about them.
There's been a few rho guys in my classes and I'll be honest, it's pretty obvious to tell they went to ACC, but they're still chill and friendly.
So what causes the mixed reactions? Do some people care that they're not recognized by UT a lot vs some don't care at all?

I’m not a Rho by that seems harsh. The guys do looks a little more blue collar/country which doesn’t make sense because they pay 20k a year in dues. I’m also aware girls don’t find them the most attractive, but they are pretty solid guys once u meet the imo
