how much do grades matter?

Being an engineering major my GPA isn't all that high but I want to pledge as a Sophomore in the fall. If I have below a 3.0 will I be kicked out of a fraternity? Will they give me a bid in the first place?

UT frats wont not bid u for a gpa unless its obscenely bad, but if you have to ask that probably means you don't know anyone so good luck getting a bid in the first place

As long as you are above a 2.8-ish
I would think you are fine. Seems like lots of engineering guys in Delt & Beta....but I don’t really know for sure. Most of the smart guys in frats are Business.
