by: curiousDo you all believe Texas Fiji is one of the wealthiest and notorious fraternity chapters in all of America? What are other fraternity chapters at various universities that compare to Texas Fiji?

Totally disagree...over the last couple of years KA is in the top based on what girls are there and who they mix with. Also, they have friends/hang out with guys in the others you mention. Lots of uncertainty for Rho and Sig ep these days.

Ka is not on the same tier because no one would turn down a bid at the others for a Ka bid. KAs like to say things about the people/mixers on greekrank because it’s something thats hard to quantify.

How stupid...it’s all impossible to quantify. What I like better about KA & ZBT is that they aren’t full of Austin Community College kids like Fiji & Rho. I don’t want to date ACC guys who may never actually get into UT and can’t sit with the students at games.

Funny because I know plenty of guys from my high school who pledge KA this year and some got bids at Fiji and some at RHO...
I think that’s why Fiji’s class, in particular,isn’t as good this year...

Duke Upenn Cornell Buxknell to name a few.
East coast and intl money is on a different level than here. We have guys from kingwood or Frisco in the top frats down here. schools like Jesuit aren’t like those 58k boarding schools on the east coast that the tri-state boys go to. Or the Catholic boarding schools in Europe that the intl guys go to.
Waaay different money scale. Sure Texas has a prestigious Greek system but it’s not top when you look nationwide. USC smokes us as far as money too.

I agree that our money is different.....but so is our standard of living. Fiji and Rho, are the closest to east coast money...and I really don’t think they have many If any kids from the burbs in those two chapters. Most of them would feel very comfortable with the real money of international and east coast families. ZBT is the other one with a lot of money. So different, yes, but could hang.

UVA is preppier but I don’t really think wealthier. UNC is not wealthier. I actually think vibe there is similar to UT.
Why do we care about any of this though? Our wealthiest and wealthiest around the country have trust funds. The rest of us are talking about our parents money....

LMAO. There are a couple kids in there with families who are worth billions. Fiji and Rho have real money but are a lot more low key than the internationals and east coast money

What douchey question... obviously the Fiji’s think this is relevant! Haha! Let me just say, Fiji’s pledge class this year is not the best in the looks category, and I’d rather hang elsewhere most of the time. Don’t get me wrong, there are some cute older ones, but this year’s pledge class... meh

We all have different perspectives. I absolutely love their pledge class. They are all just really good guys who are from all parts of the state and OOS. They are cute and fun and are so nice to all of us.
