legacy status for rush

What gives a girl legacy status at UT? Is it because her mother, grandmother, or sister was in a certain sorority, or is it extended to aunts or cousins?

Not sure about in other chapters, but in mine, only sisters and moms count. Not grandmas, not cousins, not aunts.

It’s different on each sorority you can find out what counts as a legacy on the websites!

Varies. But don’t count on anything unless your mother or sister actually went to UT. There are too many legacies in general

Sometimes i feel like all that really matters is if u have a sitting sis or a recent legacy but it definitely depends
