Agreed. But if they were serious about academics at all then they’d be looking at test scores. Everybody has “good grades” that gets into UT. Unless mommy & daddy got them a special rec letter from a wealthy donor or wrote the checks themselves.

There are a couple of sororities (KD) that value grades highly. But in general no.
