phi psi, pi kapp, phi delt and other middle tiers?

by: mesh

How are they? I know Phi Psi/Phi Delt had the roundup incident last year, but how are these fraternities overall?

Speaking on Phi Delt's behalf they are pretty strong in Texas: top tier chapters at TCU, SMU, Tech, and Baylor. Honestly UT is probably their weakest chapter

Overall National fraternity after Fiji and sae. Used to be number 1 in the state (phi delta was the first to colonize Texas in 1853 at Austin college). National office and especially the dry housing policy has taken a toll on the overall perception of the fraternity which is why theyve slipped. Still very strong though. UT chapter never recovered from having its charter revoked. The UT chapter was once the top chapter of the fraternity in Texas and the top fraternity at UT. The old UT alum could easily finance to have a new chapter house built, but looks like they're unorganized and not interested in really investing to fully revive the chapter to its former glory.

pretty clear that most of the Phi Delt alum of the past have no interest in this chapter as it was born out of a business fraternity.

Anyways, there isn't too much reason to get a new chapter house when you can't drink or have parties in it... Something rushees should consider, having a party house is pretty risky when your nationals don't condone it. They got in trouble for that before.

Third strongest in the state, not third strongest in the US. They're very strong in the US, but neither them nor Fiji is top 3 nationally.
