Tomorrow will either be like a kick in the stomach, or euphoric! Take it with a grain of salt, because there are so many more important things to be concerned with. It's petty, although it seems like the most important thing at the time. <<<<NOT, and you'll realize that later on.

there are 1,055 girls going through to cut 800 means you are pretty sure almost everyone left will go you- there is absolutely no way.

That is why the top houses end up snap bidding. And no, pledge classes are probably going to be around what 70? So more cuts to go

yes, top houses are forced by Panhellenic to cut WAY harder than other houses. it’s not their choice.. someone mentioned the retention rate and that’s really what it comes down to. because those houses have almost every single girl ask them back after open house and philanthropy, Panhellenic forces them to cut more so that the “lower” houses that were in the rushee’s bottom 3 or 4 will have a chance to redeem themselves instead of having tons of girls cut them.
So basically Panhellenic forces top houses to cut more girls so that lower houses have a better chance at making quota.

..... and rightly so. It only makes sense. There'd be a "mess" to deal with if it were different.

Which is a lot better than what used to happen which was top chapters (all, really) could invite almost everyone back all week and then cut 800 the morning of Pref. PNM’s with no chance of going Big6 would not return to the lower ranked houses early week and then be totally dropped at the end with no other options.

thats not true- panhellenic only allows a make of 400 to be released at once
