indecision

by: Rush

When I go through rush, I can't decide if I should turn down Pi Phi or KD. I'm a Kappa Delta and Pi Phi legacy, so I'll have no trouble with either. Who should I turn down?

This cannot be real. It’s such nonsense. If any girl thinks she is guaranteed, it scares me for her that she is so clueless. The only girls who are almost guaranteed are ones with sitting sisters. If it really comes down to this cut, then cut the one you like the least! Good grief!

I’ve heard that at some schools it’s getting so competitive that having a sitting sister is no guarantee.

Well, I have sitting sisters in both. They aren't at UT though, even though that's where I'm going. Now I've been told Pi Phi will be harsher, and that UT is a horrible place to rush.

Sitting sister means a sister that is in house at the school you are rushing. Otherwise, you are like every other legacy. All the UT chapters cut legacies frequently.

I agree that UT is a terrible place to go through rush. It is the most unfair, biased, pre-selected pnm school you could choose to rush. Because it is so adolescent in its process, you'd be better off joining some other organization that isn't greek. There are so many to choose from, and the members are real and down to earth.

I think you meant adolescent "values".

Legacy means: make sure you cut them before sisterhood so you don’t have to lead them on

Only sitting in-house sisters are guaranteed

I even know a girl who is a friend of mine who was a legacy and got cut after sisterhood. It should be a guarantee, but it isn’t always
