frat trends

Here's my take as to the trends from the last 2-3 years as well as possible future trends for houses I'm familiar with
FIJI-Has consistently been the top house and should continue having quality PCs with Rho losing some PNMs due to their recent issues
Rho-By bidding a ton of ACC kids their reputation has taken a hit. They're still a surprisingly strong group, but if PKTs lose interest they could be in serious trouble.
SigEP-Has been a consistent top tier house. Not necessarily rivaling FIJI yet, but if Rho continues to drop, it could happen.
ZBT-Best parties, lots of money, sub-par house, great sorority relations. They rush a different group of guys than most other frats so they should remain strong for the foreseeable future
KA-Have made great progress since their Omicron days. Could be considered a borderline top tier, certainly have distinguished themselves from other mid tiers. With Rho losing some PNMs the trickle down should help KA.
KSig-Pretty consistent as one of the top mid tiers, unless other mid tiers get new houses they should keep getting better
Delt-Solidly mid tier, their location will continue to be an issue moving forward. A new house in WC would put them in competition for top mid tier
Machi-Took a huge hit this year. They were in a position to improve greatly if they ended up getting a new house. If they are able to have a strong rush over the next year or two they could definitely rebound
Phi Psi-Their new house is great, and they're definitely making strides to improve. Giving out bids to everyone probably isnt the best move (they had almost as many pledges as actives in 2018). They're in a position to improve in the near future, but some things will have to change first

I think it’s lame to take any ACC. The frats are UT organizations, not community collage social clubs.

SAMMY is a strong mid tier house not quite as wealthy or socially adept as ZBT but not bad.
Pike had a lousy year and does not have a house. Better hope a new house will help.
Beta has got a solid group now they also need a new house.
Pi Kapp, Phi Delta Lambda Chi , DU these groups have 60-80 members , they don’t have all the pieces they need. Either they have housing problems , weaker membership / up and down rush or weaker social schedules but they have some presence unlike the true bottom feeders.

Fiji only takes about 10 ACC guys each year. They are kids of important alums.
Phi Psi had a large pledge class relative to actives last year because they're growing very fast. They were all quality guys. They're well organized and will take another large, but selective class this fall.

The Phi Psi propaganda is not funny and honestly pretty annoying. Phi Psi has huge pledge classes because they bid everyone who shows up to a rush event. They are probably the least selective of any frat at UT, even the bottom feeders. Constantly saying how amazing you are on GR does not make you a quality frat.

You're obsessed with Phi Psi. Look at the Spring 2019 IFC Chapter Size Report, and tell us who takes big pledge classes.

Those numbers are for spring pc's. You're either trolling or not in greek life if you dont understand the difference between pc's in spring vs fall. Phi Psi cant argue that they are great bc they have huge, super selective pc's as well as small pc's

Add Fall and Spring together, genius, and get back with us. Your analysis doesn't fit with total new members for the year. Fiji took 35 in Spring alone. Many others took an addl. 25.

^ the numbers from that site aren't correct. None of Fiji Sigep ZBT and Rho take spring pledges, only fall. Each of their fall pcs last year were 50+, Rhos was over 60.

I didn’t go look at UT site, but Fiji did not add more pledges to in the spring. I am positive.

Fiji doesn’t bid that many acc guys, I’m pretty sure they had less than ten in their most recent pc
