I think it is all an agenda to mess with order. No one is disappointed to have ANY house in big six on pref day. Really. Which one has the best rush changes but anyone is thrilled to have Tri delt as their home bid day.
This is all because Zeta had and Kappa had a great year last year so people think order is changing. Doubt it. PKT changes as to which is the best of those three year to year and so do Chi O , Tri Delt, and Zeta. Tiers don’t really change though. Aphi has a great year outside of big 6. No big changes. Sorry

Zeta is far above them if you are a certain type of girl maybe. I can walk into a room and pick out the Zetas, and I have absolutely no interest in looking like a Zeta. I would 100% choose any of the other five over Zeta and I am in one of big six and NOT Tri delt. Zetas are hot and sweet but wild, lots of drama, and not as classy. Aphi is very similar but those two chapters are all over this site. “Hot” and wild is NOT the most important thing to all of us.
Girls just rush and quit looking at this!. This site has so much bias it is incredible. You will be able to tell which chapters you like better, I promise. .

The zetas are hot but they have a look. And it’s not a natural one that exudes confidence with their god-given features. Like the blonde squad thing they talk about? The hell? The fact that girls are PROUD of being picked out by their bottled hair color? Excuse me—sorry. Some of us care about other things a little more when choosing a sisterhood.

Let me set something straight.
I PERSONALLY CHOSE TO DROP DDD, KAPPA, AND THEN ZETA ON PREF NIGHT! I don’t give a crap about big 6 and neither should a PNM! If I felt a home somewhere else, why would i pick the “bigger branded” house? Saying girls pick big 6 if they get them no matter what is FALSE.

The number of girls who have Big Six chapters and choose to drop them is miniscule. I don't know ANYONE who did that. No one.
Why say that when everyone will be able to tell during rush. Most girls-way more than not-get dropped from all of big six. As for dropping Kappa, DDD, and Zeta and pledging outside of big six....hmmmm....if that is true, you are the only person I have EVER heard say that. I am not saying a girl shouldn't do that, they absolutely should. I am just saying that during the hype of rush week, everyone wants big six.

You’re actually just stupid. While big six are the most popular, I can tell you several girls that dropped them. I know a DG that dropped piphi proactively. I know two alpha phis that dropped ZTA and tri Delta.
Sure, most girls want big six but there are some girls that have that choice and do something else.

I chose APHI and AXO over Chi O, Zeta, and DDD when going from sisterhood to pref. I knew I would fit in better at APHI or AXO, and I was right

Unconnected: girls you don’t know or didn’t go to high school with or didn’t go to camp with or aren’t relatives of yours. Some unconnected girls are super cool and super rich and they get snapped up pretty easily.
Randoms: Not just unconnected but kind of weird, girls that don’t fit in or have an unusual personality or look or have no cool factor. Also, girls who lack confidence or are shy and ill at ease.

...and "randoms" and "unconnected" girls often turn out to be really great and end up well loved in their chapter, rush is just harder for them. They also end up happy in their chapter no matter where it is ranked.

It really is a rush issue.
DDD assumes girls are going to pledge other big 6 houses and so they drop them after the first round. APhi keeps them in their mix and actually gets them. This has happened for the last two years and it shows. Last 2 pc’s for DDD were weak. Bewildering, actually. On the other hand, APhi keeps getting better.
Will be interesting to see how this fall goes for DDD. I’m curious to see if they have learned anything from the last 2 years.
