pledgeship and hazing in the frats

What up everyone! How bad is the hazing in each individual frat at UT and how long is pledgeship for each frat?
I've heard that the top tier frats like FIJI, RHO, KA,and ZBT have very bad hazing and a long pledgeship is this true?

yep every fraternity hazes whether they deny it or not. you’re going to be hazed and the severity of the hazing depends kind of on the rankings of the fraternity. the better and more party fraternities haze more. it’s something that will happen where ever you go so who cares plus it makes the pc bond a lot more. just dw and suck it up bc it’ll be the best 4 yrs of your life in a fraternity.

Regarding hazing, telling people to "suck it up" is absurd and dangerously wrong advice. The only "bonding" hazing creates is literally called "trauma bonding"--not healthy for anyone. Period. That's why hazing is against university policy and against the law. How about bonding over stuff that's actually good and built on building your brothers up!

Who doesn’t want to be mercilessly hazed by a bunch of drunk third year ACC students at a “top tier” fraternity at UT? How else are you going to create the fraternal bonds that leads to a lifetime of brotherhood? Only real men subject themselves to humiliating and degrading acts of sadism which does nothing to build character or improve unit cohesion!

SAE literally had its letters removed because of hazing. That is why they're called Rho. Now they have the letters back but they're a rogue fraternity
