cob

Transferring to UT next school year, and was thinking about potentially joining greek life again. I was in a sorority at my old university, but I was never initiated because I transferred after this past fall semester. I’m going to be a sophomore, and feel like it’s going to be a waste of time because I know priority is typically given to freshman. Anyways, how common is COB? Should I go for it? Or just let it rest?

COB doesn’t have a separate quota for sophomores and there are usually very few spots available, so it’s going to be hard to get a bid and tbh probably will not work out. As a sophomore, if you want to be in a sorority just go through formal recruitment. All the houses have to take a certain number of sophomores+.
