sororities
by: UTGuys, pleas don't worry about getting into a sorority here. They set the worst example possible at UT and have no clue what the real world is like. Once I graduated and am in law school, I can't believe nobody even cares about getting sh#t faced drunk all of the time. Students are so real and down to earth, and I initially felt isolated because I'd been greek and didn't know any better. The new group//students I'm around are SOOOOO above those in the sororities, and actually wish to do well for the overall good of society. Just because your sorority is made to study a quota of hours and the gpa's are high, what good is it if you're all lushes by age 30, when the serious students in life actually make a difference?!

What a generalization. Not sure what sorority you all were in, but I love my sorority and the fraternity guys I hang out with. I am around a lot of very smart, driven people who will end up doing very well and contributing in life. My guy and girl friends all have high GPAs and most-all the guys-are in hard majors. Everyone I run around with is excelling in school and also having a great time.
