summer rush for frats

If I am going to be gone for all but two weeks in June/July during the summer am I in bad shape to receive a bid from lower top/upper middle houses? I’m already on their rush lists and attended round up but have only met these guys like once. Also when does rush end for most of the top houses?

Depends on which fraternities you are rushing. If you are talking like Machi, Sammy, Delt, Pike; it might be harder to get bidded. If you talking Lambda Chi, Phi Delt, Pi Kap or DU then it shouldn’t be too bad. You need to specify your range

Can you visit again before the summer? Let them know you will be gone and plan to be there during some of the 2 weeks you are available and definitely during orientation. Top houses are pretty much wrapped up by early July.
