sorority contact

I’m planning to rush in the fall and know at least one girl in most of the houses. A few of my friends have already been contacted by sorority girls to come stay with them and invited to things but I really havent yet. Should I be concerned ?

Not at all! Doesn't mean anything. If you haven't been invited to anything yet, you still have PLENTY of time to be invited to other parties and dinners and such. Doesn't mean they don't have interest in you, its probably just the busy schedules of the girls you know.

Sororities are not allowed to summer rush. UPC has talked about it extensively. Any sorority who is rushing girls before recruitment week is desperate.

It is spring right now so it is fine to have girls up....almost all chapters are looking girls over now.

Also, I think every chapter except PKT openly summer rushed last year. It actually makes it super awkward when you end up having to decide who to go out with over orientation.

I wouldn't worry too much about it, but definitely go to things if you get invited. Also, EVERY sorority does it. It doesn't mean they are desperate, the person who said that is obviously not in a sorority.

Get those recs in, be sure social media is open, clean, and cute and try to meet sorority girls if any way possible.
