question about rush

Hi, I'm a transfer student coming in next fall. I heard that rush mostly starts in the summer? Are there any frats that I can rush in the fall without needing to come early or know somebody?
What frats are best for transfers to rush?

If you are really cool, it won’t matter so long as you reach out to the fraternity expressing interest in advance. Also, Upper lower fraternities like Pi Kapp, Phi Delt, DU, Lambda Chi and Beta all would recruit then.
