100% they are gone by mid/late spring
1) Foreman and other leaders will be lucky to get out w/o felony convictions
2) Whoever beat Nicky will probably do some time

This is what hazing gets you - the senseless death of great student, and don't respond that hazing didn't "directly" lead to death - the wreck was due to sleep deprivation - hazing

This culture at UT must change

glad for all the investigations. the truth is that hazing exists but didn't kill Nicky is what will come out. his dad needs to take a seat and start talking about how Nicky willingly engaged in and perpetuated hazing himself. is someone going to hold him accountable?
punish the pokes for hazing (if you wanna spend tax payer dollars on something that isn't a big deal in the over scope of things) but trying to pin his death on it? good luck.

The University will likely kick Cowboys off b/c of the PR backlash and to set a precedent for future hazing cases. Since this is the second death in Cowboys (1995), they will likely be off indefinitely. Like in the past, the Spurs will probably take control of the Cannon since they did that in the 90s.

The cause of death wasn't hazing since his life could have been saved by wearing a seat belt and the driver of the vehicle was a dry pledge (sober). If anything happens to individuals, I could see misdemeanors being handed out for hazing and possibly an animal cruelty charge. In terms of University repercussions, I could see suspensions being handed out, but doubt expulsions except for those involved in animal cruelty.

Regardless, a life was taken and this should serve as a catalyst for the hazing culture to end. I'm sure everyone in Cowboys and Kappa Sig, especially his older guys, are devastated since they got to know him well and put him up for good reason.
