big 2 or big 4?
by: GoHornsWould y'all say that in terms of the top tier, theres a big 4 group of fraternities (KSig SigEp FIJI SAE) or a big 2 (SAE FIJI)? Are the other two pretty far behind the top two or is it practically equal?

SigEps parties are better than Fiji and SAE's. Kappa Sig's money rivals Fijis and SAE's. I'd say Fiji and SAE are both better because they have both things going for them.
Regardless you won't see a huge drop off until after these 4. You begin seeing run down houses and suburban drunks.

Only a few losers from those seven groups do that. Most don't think that way at all, let me assure you. Some kids don't "fit in" to their top groups and are miserable. They are excluded by their own brothers or sisters. Be glad you're in a group you like with good friends. Things aren't always as they appear.

Fortunately, the University of Texas gets more than enough rushees for all of the good fraternities. UT gets the cream of the crop in the state of Texas. That's saying a lot right there. After the initial summer rush is over, you find out that some of the "leftover" guys far exceed some of the more popular, sought-after rushees (ACC bound, not-so-serious student, big legacies, etc.) I've seen this over and over again. Makes for a strong greek system all around.
