fiji vs. sae
by: ATXWhich one do y'all like more, who's better, and what would y'all say are the main differences between the two. Is it just that the kids come from different areas/high schools or is there a pretty big difference in the guys that join the two?

I would say that they're basically neck-and-neck at the top. SAE has more of an exclusive vibe. If you don't run in their social circle, you don't belong. It's that kind of a feel. They are much more country-club like if that makes sense. FIJI can be described as very classic. Good, clean fun. The guys are less showy in my opinion, and there are a lot of all Boys school guys. SAE has more money,
FIJI has a better history, and both are top fraternities not only at UT but in all of the South.

SAE for sure. To be honest I think fiji's are a bunch of tools. A few nice guys here and there but other than that they're so obsessed with each other and have their heads so far up each others asses it's so unattractive. Sae's parties are ten times better, better house, the guys are way more chill and fun (definitely some weirdos though), and better brotherhood in my opinion.

They're about as neck-and-neck as can be. FIJI is more old-school, while SAE is more preppy and exclusive in my opinion. SAE gets the Highland Park, St. Andrews/St Stephens, FWCD, Memorial, and some Westlake kids. FIJI gets more Memorial, St. Mark's, Alamo Heights.

I say the Fijis are better because they want guys that are wealthy from good schools AND that have good, cool personalities. SAEs are really good too but they do have some guys from HP and other top schools that only got in only because of where they are from, where they went to school or how much money they have. Plus, Fijis are known for having a great brotherhood, probably the best or one of the best at UT.

They are both the top, a lot of great guys from good schools, lots of money, etc...but the Fiji guys are way cooler.
