how can you tell?
by: UT FreshmanI am registered for sorority recruitment and just returned from orientation this week. I met many girls that where at the sorority tables on Monday and all they all seemed really nice. How do you tell where you belong? There did not seem to be one "bad" table, but when I got back to Jester everyone was talking about how they would drop if they were left with certain houses. Are these girls right? Am I not seeing it?

Honestly, you're probably right. In my time at UT I've noticed that none of the sororities are really bad. All of them have some hot girls, fun girls, smart girls, etc. The girls who decide to drop out because they can't condescend to be in certain houses are rushing for a label, won't get more respect for being independents, and certainly are no great loss to the houses they wouldn't deign to be associated with. You'll go further in life with that attitude than them. I recomend you keep that up, you'll be a happier person.
