ranking the physical sorority houses

Forgetting sorority reputations and rankings--how do the physical houses (inside and out) currently rank from best to worst?

Every sorority has a beautiful and tasteful house. I understand why you may be curious, but it’s probably not helpful to make a list and make anyone feel their house is the “worst.” It’s too subjective. If you check them out, you’ll see they’re all great houses.

I'm not sure why it's ok to rank the sororities from top to bottom in brutal detail, but ranking their physical houses is somehow out of bounds. If anyone's uncomfortable ranking them all, then rank your top 5 favs.

I pretty much agree with the last two comments. I think the list from “here it is” is correct and I do know that all the houses are nice and have lots of money and organization behind them

Good grief, "here it is" must not attend UT. Way off and somewhat rude. The first responder is correct - all sorority houses at UT are lovely and in immaculate condition, inside and out. House Corporations are quite wealthy and run the homes like businesses.

That is just too hard to rank. All of them put a lot of money at times into their homes. It really has to do with what kind of style of home one likes.

The physical houses on the outside are all pretty nice. Almost all the houses are not that great on the inside but it’s really not about what it looks like it’s about the sorority itself. Some of the top houses are not that nice and some of the “lower tiered” sororities have some of the nicest houses. It’s all about alumni funding

most of the houses are really nice downstairs but upstairs they are cramped, old, not as nice.

Kappa is really nice upstairs, the whole house is super nice and they have a great lot and location

AEPhi -- amazing renovation (it used to look like the Brady Bunch house, LOL) and beautifully decorated inside.
