What percent of SRD is Greek?

You aren't helping her by being so nasty. It would require self confidence. We all know how brutal rush is and the cuts are hard on everyone everywhere. Hardin is mainly big six and ones who aren't in big six usually thought they were going big six. Everyone is still nice and gets along, but I am sure it might be tough to watch if you aren't part of that group. I know some girls who ended up bitter, and I do not think it was the way they were treated but their perceptions. (I am sure someone with a chip on their shoulder will hop in and say the girls in Hardin are awful but they really aren't!!!)

It doesn't matter where you live in terms helping with rush. (Well, I shouldn't say that. I am pretty sure Chi O and Tri Delt deliberately cut most Hardin girls -private school ones who aren't legacies or without major connections for sure-on day one day one instead of actually trying to compete for them. ) I actually liked the feel of Hardin better even if it is a dump. The girls seemed really close, doors were open, and it just looked fun. I am sure SRD or Calloway would be just as fun they just didn't appeal to me as much. Any of above are great options. Choose what you like!

You aren't helping either with your reply. SRD, Hardin, and Calloway, and the UT dorms are all great choices, just depends on what you want.

I am talking about the 2nd commenter, also please don't spread rumors about ChiO and TriDelta cutting girls from Hardin, it is rumors like these that make things worse...you full of bs!

Hardin’s food is fine. People are exaggerating. It is about like food is in a private high school. Not great but certainly not terrible. Mostly big six is definitely a thing though and it is a dump compared to others. Small and close community though....very easy to make friends and always fun stuff going on.

My friends in SRD love it and don’t get Hardin at all. That is fine. Not all Greek. I am sure there is always stuff going on here too.

Calloway is really nice but boys right there all the time really changes the dynamic. Not all Greek. I would live here if I was a boy for sure but like all girls better.

No bad choices. Just choose one you like best.

The food is terrible at Hardin, this is a fact, and it smells like mildew all the time in certain areas. Girls are nice, but honestly, SRD girls seem nicer (and not as wild). Not sure what your friend doesn't get about Hardin. Seems odd for you to say that. Calloway is very nice, but there are boys which is good and bad, just like having all girls can be good and bad.

You are clueless. Some of us like the feel and warmth of Hardin. I toured and stayed in all of the ones we are talking about on here and chose Hardin. I can live in a nice place the rest of my life. I am here to make friends and have fun while I get an education-not worry about how nice my living space is. You are a bit presumptuous to assume moms are making the choice and to be tearing it down so thoroughly. Food isn’t terrible btw.

The cuts is NOT a lie.....I watched it happen. Chi O and Tri Delt definitely cut girls they think are going PKT day 1....private school and non legacy/connection girls....rather than compete and most of those girls live in Hardin. They do not rush them. That’s fine. I get it, but just because you don’t hear about it in those sororities or in SRD doesn’t make it a lie.

SRD, Calloway, Hardin and every single other dorm have great girls and not great girls. One group of girls is not “nicer” than the other. Choose where you feel comfortable and don’t listen to mean girls on here.
