look past the letters

Let me start off by saying that I am a fraternity man at UT. Yeah, some houses might not have the history like PKT does, but PKT girls are also widely unattractive and if they feel like they need to bash other sororities on greek rank because some high schoolers look at this site, that's just sad. Pi Phi had an awful rush last year, and Kappa had an awful one the year before. Some houses are a blast to hang out with and are super laid back. There are also more cute "other house girls" then girls in PKT. Look past the letters.

With the post, but as a guy, something about the syntax here feels like a girl wrote it. I wouldn't say that for sure, but even bottom tier sororities have gotten hotter PCs while I've been at UT than PKT.

The awful part didn't tip me off, I could see a guy saying that, but referring to the girls as cute and saying "look past the letters" definitely raised an eyebrow.
