Fiji is building a new party house

KS is building a new chapter house next year

SAE's house is already awesome

Fiji is pretty exclusive in who they rush. A lot of good guys, but some can be arrogant. Awesome tradition but kind of restrict themselves to only a few sororities

Kappa sig is definitely on the rise in every aspect, from their new house in the next few years to getting much bigger pledge classes with great guys. Also, has one of the top GPA's

SAE is SAE. very exclusive in who they hang out with, not that it's a bad thing. More like Fiji than KS

FIJI has been the consistent #1 or #2 (along with phi delt up until phi delts died out in. the 90s and kicked off) since fraternities arrived on UT campus. Tradition and age of Texas FIJI is unmatched. SAE is #2. SAE wasn't even considered top tier until the 80s. Shows how things can change dramatically in a few generations.

KS is on the rise but doesn't even belong in the same paragraph as Fiji and SAE. Nice try though bro.

Honestly, your best bet in finding out which fraternity is best for you is by giving each a chance regardless of what you have heard in the past. Each one has something unique to offer, and in the end, you want to pledge a fraternity that fits who you are . All 3, plus Sig Ep are the best Texas has to offer, and it's up to you to figure out where you fit best with.

Dues for the top fraternities range from 5000-8000

minimum dues for these 3 is $6000, but that is just for the dues. When you add up all of their social assessments (mixers, OU, party buses, random social assessments, etc). You're looking at another $1500 on top of that.

you're minimum rate was 20% off the actual minimum rate. That kind of error kills people in my field of study

haha it's a range not some absolute number that is expected to be 100% corrrect

The minimum of $6000 is ONLY 1000 off, not a big difference when you consider the medium we are on.
